Originally from Winnipeg, Dr. Toy completed his Bachelor of Science and Medical Doctorate degrees from the University of Manitoba. Upon completion of an intense plastic surgery residency at the University of Alberta, Dr. Toy was selected for a fellowship year at the University of Pittsburgh Life After Weight Loss Program in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Toy's Practice Philosophy

“I am dedicated to providing the highest level of surgical care to my patients, combining state-of-the-art techniques and knowledge with genuine and personalized care to all. I am extremely interested in exploring the desires and expectations of all patients—I use the pre-surgical consultation to do so in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Whether dealing with the specific concerns of a patient or deciding on a patient’s post-operative breast size, I allow patients to openly discuss their expectations and then formulate this into achieving a common goal. After surgery, patients can expect to be closely monitored throughout the recovery process – my team and I are available to answer any questions that a patient might have”.
